While most retro-stalgia taking place in the indieverse is currently more aligned with the 80s and 90s, this song comes off strong as a nice throwback to a slightly older era. It’s pretty much gorgeous in every way, having a classic crooner feel coupled with some modern production techniques. Crybaby (aka Danny Coughlan) comes off a bit like a lonely Roy Orbison, but writing that just made me realize the Roy Orbison always seemed to be lonely. Enjoy!
